Lalo de La Carpio: April 2011

April 4th. Pole vaulting accident (pre Lalo). Serious concussion. I will never forget the date as everyone kept asking "what's the date, what's your name, what day of the week is it?" Interestingly enough, it was a Monday and I watched Phi Slamma Jamma play in the big game from a hospital bed. Ten years later began a life time of chronic neck pain.

There will be times when we come crashing back to down earth. Get back up!! If we're still breathing, God isn't finished with us yet. Pain is part of life, feel it!! If you don't feel any pain, you just might be dead.

28 years later, thriving in the mission field in Costa Rica. 5+ years and counting. God has a plan for all of us!!
