The Passion

Luis Carlos and Leonel put their names on this letter in August of 2005. These poor ghetto boys went on to become the founders of the only sports dynasty in the history of La Carpio. The exact lines of the heart w/ flames soon became the logo of our soccer team. I will never forget the passion of those early years. The road into our place in La Carpio is where I got wings for my flightless heart. Luke 24:32 says "Were not our hearts burning within us while HE talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?"

2nd place pinewood derby '78, '79 (Den 4). My brother won 1st place in '78, he was so happy. I clapped for him anyways. Pops was proud, he sure could make 'em go fast.
