Cesar
This is the kid who helped Lalo with his language school homework. He dropped out of high school last year and started working for a local beverage distributor in La Carpio. His boss was shot over the weekend so that ended the job. Cesar just started back to school this week. Please pray for a new beginning.

Back To School
They sang the Costa Rica national anthem to kick things off. A group of kids asked me to sing the gringo national anthem. I think I broke a throat muscle in the process, but the cultural exchange was worth it. When I walked Roberto to his classroom, he started crying and so did I. We had the best summer break ever. We've lived a lot of life in this first part of '09.

Pure Rock
It's true. Spotted Saturday in Parque La Paz while flying kites. I was in Lubbock (my old college town) last December and can tell you that 94.5 FMX still rocks.
